ISAs (Individual Savings Accounts)

These were introduced on the 6th April 1999. At that time the Government guaranteed that ISAs would available for at least 10 years. ISAs are designed to encourage savings and allow you to invest from as little as £10 up to a Maximum of £7,000 each tax year from 8 April 2008 this limit will be raised to £7,200 a year.
